In September we were at the London Vegan Festival. We were also interviewed by Supreme Master TV, we launched a greyhound initiative, and we were busy preparing for the first Animals Count Party Conference on the 4th of October in Birmingham.
On 31st May and 1st June, Animals Count was at the Bristol Vegan Fayre, which was extremely well attended (>10,000 people): thanks to our volunteers! Pictured left, Andrew and Jasmijn are talking to Patrick from Supreme Master TV, which can be viewed online and at Sky channel 835.
On 26th April we had a very successful 'Party for the Animals' in London Kennington Park. See this page for pictures.
The Ealing animal welfare bazaar on March first was successful. Thank you to Peter, Wayne, Gawain, and Marjolein (who came all the way from the Netherlands to help Animals Count!).
About 10,000 people joined the Climate Change march despite the rain, wind and cold. At least 50-70 veg*n activists handed out leaflets about the link between livestock farming and climate change. Despite the fact that this contributes to 18% of all global warming gases, only Green Party MEP Caroline Lucas mentioned this in her speech. Alex and Jasmijn walked at the front of the march and when we reached the American Embassy we were interviewed by a freelance journalist.
Thank you very much to Andrew, Alex, Richard, Joanne, Lorraine, Gemma and Jasmijn for their help at the Christmas Without Cruelty fayre on 2nd December 2007. Tomorrow is our anniversary as we celebrate successfully launching the party last year during the CWC Fayre.
On 28th November 2007 Jasmijn de Boo attended an evening of talks by lawyers from the Association of Lawyers for Animal Welfare (ALAW). The topics included 'International trade law and the protection of animals' and 'A year in animal protection; a review of important cases and developments in the law over the past year'.

- London Vegan Festival, 19 August 2007
- Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 11 August 2007
- Los Angeles, Animal Rights 2007, 21 July 2007

The Viva! Incredible Veggie Show was a major success; the T-shirts went down really well, there was lots of interest and we made a few interesting contacts with people which will be followed up. Thanks to Cathy, Alex, Gemma, Peter, Andrew and Jasmijn!
Jasmijn de Boo and Heather Mills.
The Bristol Vegan Fayre (9th and 10th June 2007) has been the largest vegan festival in the UK so far.
